Gina Kirschenheiter is a known television personality and the newly added cast member of Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of Orange Country. She joined the show on its 13th Season after she and her ex-husband, Matthew Kirschenheiter, moved from Long Island to Orange County.

Before the show was aired, Gina had an unexpected divorce from her husband; hence the show introduced her as “a single mom of sort.” Gina was born on the 11th of March, 1984.

She attended and earned her Psychology degree at Hofstra University. However, Gina was not sure about pursuing psychology as her career.

So after graduation, Gina found herself working for North American Airlines as a flight attendant. She also considered getting a master’s degree at Hofstra School of Medicine, yet her pregnancy got in her way, so she decided to focus on it instead.

After she and her husband relocated to Orange County, California, she was given a chance to be part of the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13. But due to some circumstances, Gina and Matthew filed a divorce three months before the show was scheduled to air in July 2018.

Many viewers got curious as to why Gina’s husband was not showing up in the series. However, Gina had dismissed all the rumors about them getting a divorce and only explained that her husband was preoccupied with work.

When the recordings for TRHOOC had to pause temporarily because of the pandemic, Gina had no choice but to stay home and do nothing. And since she was inactive, her body could not burn calories from all her food.

Consequently, her weight had unknowingly increased. Gina realized she had gained weight after noticing that her usual pants won’t fit her anymore.

Hence she decided to change her lifestyle to stay healthy and lose weight.

To start her weight loss journey, Gina had to ensure she only consumed healthy foods. Her diet mainly consists of fruits, vegetables, and some meat.

In one interview, The Real Housewives of Orange Country star was asked if there were any food she had to cut off during her diet. Gina answered that she had stopped drinking alcohol regularly.

She also added that she decided only to drink wine during special occasions like date night. In addition, Gina asked some of her co-stars for some diet tips.

Emily Simpson, also a cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County, advised Gina to stop eating when the clock hits 5 pm. Gina followed her advice and revealed that it contributed to her weight loss journey.

Gina said she had been taking yoga classes at Ladera Yoga for her Exercise Routine. Gina has been attending these classes regularly. She revealed that she struggled initially but managed to get used to it after a few lessons.
