Abbi Jacobson was known as an American comedian, writer, illustrator, and producer. She was well-received for her projects like Broad City on Comedy Central from the year 2014 to 2019.
She also voiced Katie Mitchell of The Mitchells vs the Machines in 2021, in The Lego Ninjago Movie as Nya in 2017, and Princess Bean for Disenchantment in 2018. She appeared in the movies: Person to Person (2017) and 6 Balloons (2018).
The 38 years old American actress from Wayne, Pennsylvania, was openly bisexual and has always been an inspiration to many of her fans. Aside from acting, Abbi Jacobson was active in producing and illustrating books.
In 2013, she published her first two chronicle colouring books, Color This Book: New York and Color This Book: San Francisco. In 2016 she illustrated a New York Times bestseller book titled Carry This Book, published by Viking Press.
Two years later, in 2018, Jacobson published with Grand Central Publishing her I Might Regret This: Essays, Drawings, Vulnerabilities, and Other Stuff. Abbi Jacobson is a Jewish raised in Pennsylvania, where she attended the Valley Forge Middle School and Conestoga High School.
Inspired by her graphic designer and artist parents, Abbi took fine arts and video production at the Maryland Institute College of Art. In 2006 she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in General Fine Arts.
Jacobson briefly studied acting at Emerson College and moved to New York. She formally began classes at the Atlantic Theater Company and Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
