British actress Emilia Clarke rose to fame for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. She entered the acting industry early under her family’s influence.

Emilia Clarke kept her body in shape for her acting career and to keep herself healthy. However, Clarke expressed how much of a food lover she is that she had gained weight and confessed that she could not take care of her body and appearance.

Although the star is a natural beauty, it is still crucial to check her weight as she needs to look her best for her on-screen castings. When Clarke gained weight, she decided to commit to a healthier diet and lose weight.

Also, she felt the need to achieve a slimmer body for her role in the movie Terminator Genisys. Thus, she started working out and underwent a stricter diet.

Clarke has a personal trainer who helped her with her diet. The actress went Gluten-Free, and she avoids processed foods in her diet.

She stopped consuming flour-containing foods as well as reduced her sugar intake. She became conscious of what she eats and started to take care of her body, and she expressed that starting early in her journey to be healthy and lose weight would benefit her in the long run.

She also had to work out aside from having a strict diet.

Emilia Clarke did not just exercise but also lifted weight for her role in a movie. Her trainer instructed her to use weapons for lifting instead of weights as it would be more beneficial than lifting weights and may help her in her movie.

After the shooting of her film, Clarke continued with her exercise routine and maintained her weight; she now lifts more comfortably than before as she got used to lifting weights.

Clarke practices Yoga, as she described it as a way to keep her mind at peace. The actress also loves walking; she does it as an activity. Clarke spends her time at the gym about three times a week.

Emilia Clarke had weighed around 135 pounds before her exercise routine, and then she had successfully reduced her weight to 115 pounds. The actress did all this for her movie, Terminator Genisys.

Soon after the shooting, Clarke trained herself to eat healthier, but she could not leave behind her love for food, so she prepared homemade meals and applied her diet to her routine to maintain her slimmer figure.
