Gabe Logan Newell, commonly known as Gabe Newell, is a successful entrepreneur and the president of the company Valve. In the early 1980s, he enrolled at Harvard University but left to work at Microsoft before graduating.

There, Gabe was instrumental in developing the earliest versions of the Windows operating system. In 1996, he and another employee, Mike Harrington, quit their Microsoft jobs to start Valve.

They were working together for four years. However, in 2000, Mike left the company, becoming the sole owner of Newell. By 2021, he has acquired ownership of at least one-quarter of Valve.

The beginning of Gabe’s journey to lose weight occurred in May of 2016 when he weighed 340 pounds and decided to take action by changing the way he ate and beginning an exercise routine. According to Gabe, he avoided getting on the scale because he was embarrassed by his weight, so Gabe had no idea what it was when he was at his heaviest.

After a year of committing himself to a healthy running and diet plan, he dropped from 340 to 280 pounds, a weight loss of 60 pounds. But Gabe didn’t give up there; he continued doing what he did, and after six months, he dropped 30 pounds and now weighs about 250 pounds. In addition, he took part in a jiu-jitsu competition, which he ultimately won.

Regrettably, he did not reveal the specifics of his diet plan. However, he limited his consumption of alcoholic beverages and excessive amounts of fast food.

It is rational to assume that his diet, which included vegetables and various types of meat, was nutritious. Despite this, Gabe successfully lost weight and made significant changes to how he lives his life.

According to Gabe, the only form of exercise that he did was running, and he did it for as many days as possible. It is an effective form of exercise that can help burn many calories.
